What we store on your device, on what basis, and how to change it.
1What this covers
Cookies, local storage and any similar technology that reads from or writes to your device. Quebec's Law 25 and, where it applies, the GDPR together with the ePrivacy rules require your consent before anything that is not strictly necessary to deliver the service you asked for. Effective 9 August 2026.
2Essential
Always active, because the Platform cannot function without them, and no consent is required for them.
- Session and refresh tokens
- Keep you signed in and let a session be revoked. Session and short-lived persistent.
- Security tokens
- Protect against cross-site request forgery and session replay.
- Preferences
- Your language, your theme, and which Company you are currently acting as.
- Consent record
- Your cookie decision and when you made it, stored locally so we do not ask again.
3Analytics
Off unless you turn it on. Anonymous page counts that tell us which parts of the product are used and which are broken, plus a counted first visit recording device, operating system, browser and a salted hash of your IP address. We never store your IP address in clear text for this purpose.
If you refuse, the analytics script is not loaded at all, rather than loaded and asked to stay quiet. Refusing costs you no functionality.
4How your choice is recorded
Your decision is stored in your browser with the date you made it, per browser and per device. It is versioned: if the categories change, the old answer is treated as no answer and you are asked again, because an answer to a different question is not consent.
5Changing your mind
Clearing your site data resets the decision and you will be asked again on your next visit. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies will sign you out and break parts of the Platform.
6What we do not do
- No third-party advertising or marketing pixels.
- No cross-site tracking, and no sale or sharing of behavioural data.
- No pre-ticked consent, no consent inferred from scrolling, and no design that makes refusing harder than accepting.
- No cookie wall: refusing does not lock you out.
7Changes
If we add a category, the consent version changes and we ask again before anything in the new category runs.
